If you can't make a Migal trip this summer, HBO Max and Britbox may have a solution. From Friday, August 1st, Britbox starts a curated collection of television programs on HBO Max, which can enjoy subscribers. Britbox is presented as “The Best of British TV” and offers a sample of 15 shows – from many Agatha Christie adaptations to Detective Dramas to Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchants's The office – The same type of license agreement HBO Max has sealed in the past with AMC+.
This collection is an attempt to meet what HBO Max and Britbox identify as a “75 percent increase in US demand” for British television. The Americans apparently dream of another country.
