Justin Timberlake has announced that he lives with Lyme Borreliosis.
The 44-year-old said he was “shocked” to obtain the diagnosis, but it explained why he “felt on stage and in a huge amount of nerve pain or just crazy tiredness or illness”.

“Among other things, I fought some health problems and diagnosed with Lyme Borreliosis -which I don't say, so they feel bad for me -but to throw some light on what I had behind the scenes.
“If you have experienced this disease or know someone who has it – then you are aware: life with it can be tirelessly weakening, both mentally and physically.”
According to the American centers for diseases and control and prevention (CDC), patients who were treated with antibiotics in the early stages of infection are normally and complete.
It adds that most patients who were treated in later stages react well to antibiotics, but some may have suffered long -term damage to the nervous system or joints.
