TThe wife of the former Maroon 5 bass players Mickey Madden says in new court files that he had physically attacked her after she had confronted him with “sexing with teenage girls”.
In court documents that adhere to domestic violence against Madden, his wife Kate Bowman said that he attacked her on July 21 in her house in Los Angeles after discovering sexual messages with “at least two high school girls”, including “Fantasies” about “rape one of the girls”.

“I am completely traumatized by the discovery that the surveyed behavior at high school girl who is probably criminal has,” writes Bowman in the document, submitted on Wednesday (July 30th) to Los Angeles. “When I discovered this, I approached him and said that I knew what was going on. The respondent then kept me physically.”
Bowman says in the document that Madden “got angry” when she left his phone while confronting him.
“He put both arms around my body around my stomach and my arms to hold back,” she says. “Then he banged my body against the marble -related counter. I felt pain in my hip and in my waist.
Bowman says that later, when she ran from home to escape him, he followed her outside and “pushed my body against the metal gate”. After allegedly chasing her down the street, she said that he banged my body into the rock wall that bordered the street with his body. When she was finally able to hide from him, she said she could see his phone.
“Communication was so annoying that I cried hysterically,” says Bowman. “I was absolutely disgusted to read his texts about the rape of her and terrible other details. His cash app showed that he also paid her in exchange for sexual content and sexual actions.”

In the court files, Bowman says that she believes that Madden has since “rehabilitation program for sex addiction”. She says that he repeatedly apologized for text and recorded screenscors of the stock exchanges.
“Please forgive me. It all felt like a private and wrong harmless imagination. It has no influence on real life at all,” says the alleged text. “I am ashamed of myself and I'm so sorry. Can you come back and talk to me personally.”
On Thursday (July 31), a judge in Los Angeles gave the injunction against Madden, apart from everyone and ordered him to stay 100 meters from his wife and her home in which the presumed incident took place. Another arrangement in which he had to get out of the house was postponed until a court hearing.
A representative of Madden could not be found immediately for a comment on Thursday.
Madden was a founding member of Maroon 5 after playing next to Adam Levine in her former band Kara's Flowers. But he left Maroon 5 in 2020 after he had been arrested for allegations of domestic violence. It is unclear whether this alleged incident Bowman or another suspected victim affected.
“I have some things with which I have to deal and approach, and that's why I decided to leave Maroon 5,” said Madden in an explanation at the time. “I don't want to distract my bandmates. I wish you the absolutely best.”
According to Madden's arrest, no charges were submitted, but he never returned to the band after the incident.
