John Cena returns to the BabyFace page during the 8/1 -WWE Smackdowns

The episode of August 1 of WWE Smackdown opened with a large segment in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

John Cena's heel turning came for a long time, but at that time it may be over. This week Cena opened the show on Smackdown.

Cody Rhodes came out to interrupt John Cena before he was really started. This led Cena to cut a promo that apparently made him Babyface again.

John Cena first thanked Cody Rhodes for taking the match near Summerlam. He said that he realized that five months ago he bubbled all his past hustle and bustle, loyalty and respect when he took out the rock finish.

Cena said that everyone who said they would be in his team, like the skirt and Travis Scott, left him all by themselves. Then John Cena said that he wanted to leave WWE with the championship, but not because he wants to ruin the wrestling. Instead, he wants to take it home with him because he doesn't want the fans to forget him.

John Cena woke up the street fighting game in Summerlam and he promised that fans will actually see him appearing. Then he said that August 1, 2025 marked the day when John Cena really returned to the WWE.

John Cena's promo ended with a massive reaction of Babyface of fans when he announced that the champion was here. In the end, he said that the fans will be the winners of Summerlam because he “finally over my BS about my BS, as we see how Cody Rhodes takes over the greatest ever in my best”. He also said that I am the “only platinum rapper who opens.

Cody Rhodes then took off his jacket and got two beers from the timekeeper. At that time, Cody said: “Welcome back, John Cena” and the two roasted a beer in the middle of the ring.

We have to see what happens in Summerlam, because things could take a very unexpected turn. Things were certainly unpredictable at Smackdown this week.
