Mark Ruffalo circles Hulk Return in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'

Mark Ruffalos Hulk could strike on Tom Holland's “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” set.

Ruffalo circles an appearance in the upcoming fourth “Spider -Man” film directed by destin Daniel Cretton, but it is unclear whether a deal has closed for him to reproduce his role as Bruce Banner alias the incredible Hulk.

In “Brand New Day” the franchise stars Zendaya will return, which Peter Parker's girlfriend Mj Jones-Watson and Jacob Batalon plays as his best friend Ned Leeds. New in the Spidey universe are Jon Bernthals Punisher (who recently appeared on Disney+ “Daredevil” and his own special) as well as mysterious new characters played by “The Bear” Emmy winner Liza Colón-Zayas and “Stranger Things”-Sadie-Spüle. Cretton heads a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommer's.

An important dynamic in Holland's Spider-Man franchise was his relationship with older mentorf figures, including Tony Stark/Iron Man by Robert Downey Jr. in “Homecoming” and the “Avengers” movies, during 2019 “far away” by Samuel L. Jacksons Nick Fury. Then 2021s showed “No Way Home” Benedict Cumberbatchs Doctor Strange and looked at spider men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, in the MCU. So Ruffalos Bruce Banner would fit this role well; The OG Avengers figure does not yet have a solo film with the headline, but the green-skinned giant had a first-class co-lead role in “Thor: Ragnarok” and appeared in several episodes of the Disney+ series “SHE-Hulk: Law at Law”.

On Friday morning, Sony and Marvel Holland's new spidey lawsuit teased in honor of the National Spider-Man Day. The video clip with nine seconds showed a close -up of the suit with the heading “Something Brandes comes.” The film is scheduled to swing in cinemas on July 31.

The Hollywood reporter first reported Ruffalos Casting. Sony and Marvel had no comment.

Ruffalo is reproduced by Uta and Lighthouse Management.
