ReneƩ Rapp was only 19 years old when she learned that she would go to Broadway to the meanest Mean GirlsPresent Regina George.

Last year she repeated the role on the big screen.

Now Rapp has an eye on the pop charts. And if the title of your new album, Bite with mePresent Is a hint that she still has a little “mean girl” in her.

ReneƩ Rapp is now 25, but full of trust of an experienced entertainer. She says that many people see her like that.

“My father always told me that the self -confident people in the room are the people who are aware that they are unsure,” said Rapp to Morning edition Host of a MartĆnez. “I think that … I was born to do this, and this is the only thing I would do, but I also think that this is associated with a massive emotional stress. I am also worried about every one I make a decision.”

Anger is a recurring topic in many songs in Bite with me. In “Mad” Rapp hits a romantic partner about her joy to stay angry long after the end of a dispute.

Rapp confesses: “I feel my feelings for a 10th” She says she was in relationships in which she was accused of being irrational herring and having kept resentment.

“It's so funny, I am really confrontational in life, but in my close, personal and intimate relationships I am so pronounced and calm (when I'm sober!)”, She said.

Rapp also indicates how men are often awarded to get angry in public, but it is not women. “I had a job that made me emotionally senselessly. When I started to get angry and said: 'Hey, not really treating her. This is unethical,' you would say: 'Woof, what kind of drama queen!' You armed this behavior so that you can do what you want and treat me as you want, ā€she said. “So I have a great relationship with anger, I find it really healthy.”

Since her Broadway debut, Rapp's career Rocketed -has an album deal, Concert Tours, a role in the HBO Max series The sex life of College girl. She was surrounded by managers and consultants and tries to keep her career in trend. But a short scan of some of the song titles Bite with me Give an insight into your spirit of mind during this ascent: “Leave me in peace” “Why is she still here?“” I can't have you around me anymore “,” I like you better if you are gone. “

“I cheated out of everyone and everything so much that I don't even know who I am,” said Rapp at that time. “I don't remember the last time I was happy. Oh, it was so depressing. And what is interesting: I have never been surrounded by people again, but I never felt more lonely.”

With this album, Rapp started more control over her career. “It just felt like I had to get rid of everything that is connected to me and be born again. Go and run and do my own thing,” she said.
