This week, the Federal Prosecutor asked a judge to refuse Combs' recent application for Sean “Diddy”, while he is waiting for the conviction for his conviction for two cases of crimes related to prostitution.
Last month, Combs was acquitted of a jury of sex trade and the extortion of the charges, but convicted of transporting prostitutes to participate in sexual marathons with drug footing.
The sex trade and the indictment wore potential living conditions in prison. Any charges related to prostitution has a potential maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
At a hearing after his conviction, judge Arun Subramanian made a defense request that Combs should be released against a deposit of $ 1 million. His lawyers had admitted during the eight -week court proceedings that he was violent in his personal relationships and did not prove that Combs is not a danger to others.
“This type of violence that happens behind closed doors in personal relationships that are triggered by unpredictable tantrums is impossible for the police,” said Subramanian.

In a 12-page registration at the beginning of this week, Combs Subramanian's lawyers asked to rethink and argue that the 55-year-old hip-hop mogul “will not be violent for anyone”.
“This jury gave him his life back,” said Marc Agnifilo, Combs Senior Defender, in the submission to the associated press. “And he will neither waste his second chance in life, nor would he do something to further endanger his seven children who have no father, and four of his children, who have no parent at all.”
Agnifilo argued that Combs was treated unfairly because he described himself on a “swinger” lifestyle. He also quoted serious conditions in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Combs took place since his arrest in September 2024.
The defense suggested that Combs should be released with a 50 million dollar bond that would restrict his journey between his house in Miami and New York for legal meetings and that he would be open to other illnesses, including house arrest and obligatory mental and suspicious treatment, if necessary.

In their 11-page reaction, the prosecutors stated that there were no extraordinary circumstances that would justify the judge to rethink the deposit for Combs, which they said, still a “danger to the community”.
“The accused's detention, which is pending, is mandatory, there is no extraordinary circumstances that justify his release, and even if it was there, the defendant cannot prove clear and convincing evidence that he does not pose any danger for the community,” wrote prosecutors.
“The extensive history of violence by the accused – and his continued attempt to minimize his recent violent behavior – shows his danger and that it is not accessible to the supervision,” they added.
What's next?
Subramanian has not yet ruled on the recent application for the defense deposit, nor has he issued a decision about a separate application in which it was argued that the conviction of the jury according to the man's law – which should be excluded the intergovernmental trade in connection with prostitution – should be lifted or that Combs should be granted a new negotiation.
Combs is to be convicted by Subramanian on October 3.
