Brock Lesnar is back.
The competitive former UFC heavyweight champion unexpectedly returned to the WWE on Sunday evening in Summerlam when he appeared between John Cena and Cody Rhodes at the end of the Main Event game. When Cena was in the worship of his fans in the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, Lesnar's music hit the loudspeakers to surprise the shock and the surprise of the participants.
Lesnar finally marched to the ring and stared at Cena all the way before he jumped in and that hit it Peace pent Stern with its characteristic “F5” movement. He left the ring and the stadium without saying a word, but Lesnar is clearly returning to the WWE for one last run with CENA, which wants to retire from the professional wrestling at the end of 2025.
The return reflected Lesnar another shocking appearance in WWE when he returned to the organization after his run in the UFC, where he ruled as a heavyweight champion. This return in 2012 ended with his “F5” when he had the first appearance with his “F5” when he had left in the WWE after he had left eight years earlier.
Of course, Lesnar's return came just a few weeks after the UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier claimed that he was banished by the promotion.
“Brock is currently on the forbidden list” on his podcast. “Brock got into such great difficulties. You know what Brock did. I don't tell you in the air what Brock did. Brock is in so much difficulties.”
While Cormier never spoke to special features, he probably referred to the ongoing lawsuit by a former WWE employee named Janel Grant, who submitted a blockbuster lawsuit against the former owner and CEO Vince McMahon in 2024 and claimed that she was sexually abused and traded among other things.
A change that was submitted to the original lawsuit identified Lesnar as a prominent actor who was involved in some of the allegations against McMahon and John Lauranaitis, which is the former head of talent relationships for WWE.
In the extensive allegations, Grant claimed that McMahon had shared explicit photos and videos of her with Lesnar, while the WWE tried to sign him in a new deal. She also claimed that McMahon later informed her that Lesnar would soon join her as the next “playmate”.
While a number of disturbing allegations were made, Lesnar was not actually mentioned as a accused in the lawsuit.
Now Lesnar is in WWE for at least one further run, which is most likely back with CENA before calling it a career at the end of the year.
