Jessie J faces another health challenge.
The 37-year-old singer, who was operated on for breast cancer six weeks ago, was taken to the hospital with an infection. She shared on Sunday, August 3, in a series of Instagram stories.
Jessie J, whose real name Jessica Cornish is, said that she “had a little fluid in my lung”, and although doctors carried out “many tests”, “she still tries to find out” what kind of infection she has. Her symptoms pointed to her lungs on a blood clot, but this was found that this was not the case.
“It is difficult for me to breathe in, but I released myself last night (I hate being in the hospital) and will continue the examination as an outpatient,” she added.
The Instagram stories contained a photo from a apparently in a hospital bed that contained Jessie J's arm with an IV. “How I spent the last 24 hours,” she wrote in the picture.
The update takes place after Jessie J announced in June that she was diagnosed with “former” breast cancer. At that time she told the fans that she had been and exposed to the tests and was later operated on.
In July, the singer “No Secrets” announced that she had received results that point out that the cancer had not spread, even though she said she still had “a lot of healing” and had to undergo another operation.
In her latest Instagram stories, Jessie J said that her recovery was “anything but quick or simple, and mentally it was the most difficult time for me. She also described her hospital instruction as a memory of her body that she has to slow down.
“This is not a quick recovery,” she considered. “And it is not thought. … This slow pace was a difficult reality to accept TBH. I love to move and work and be active and active, but I can't be at the moment, and that's exactly what it is.”
Later on August 3, the Grammy candidate shared a playful update and joked that she “finally a diagnosis” for what was wrong with her, and “Apparently it means … dramatic?”
She added: “My symptoms are the same and no idea what is still wrong. But my sarcasm and my sense of humor are adhered to.”
