A former friend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was supposed to testify against him in his criminal proceedings, but was broken off mysteriously days before the start of the process, wrote a letter to the judge in which he pushed the release of Combs against the deposit.
Virginia Huynh, who goes from “Gina”, was part of the case of the public prosecutor's office against combs, which was initially anonymously referred to as “sacrificial 3”. Before the process began, the prosecutors alerted the court that they could no longer find “victim 3”, and they had lost contact with her and her lawyer.
In her recent attempt to publish Combs before his conviction, Combs' defense has taken a letter from “Victim-3”, which identified itself for the first time. In the letter, Huynh wrote to the judge that Combs does not believe that Combs is a danger to the community and that he is a committed family man who “has not been violent for many years”.
Huynh's letter was included as an exhibition in the recent submission of the defense, the response to the opposition of the public prosecutor's office, before his conviction, which is available for October 3, to publish combs against the deposit.
Combs was sentenced to prostitution by a jury last month for two transpiration, but was acquitted for more serious charges that would have put him behind grids for decades: conspiracy and sex trade.
In the letter, Huynh said that she has known Combs for years, both professionally and personally. She recognized her relationship with the shameful mogul, “was not always perfect”, but “he was ready to recognize and make his mistakes better
Decisions in the future. ”
“When our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness, which differs significantly from his previous behavior. As far as I know, he has not been violent for many years and has committed himself to being a father first,” says the letter. “I write because I don't consider Mr. Combs as a danger for myself or the community.”
During the trial, Combs' former assistant George Kaplan said that he once threw Combs in his house in Miami apples in Huynh. Cassie Ventura, the star of the case and another former friend of Combs, told Combs, she was unfaithful to her when she ended up with Gina during her 11-year relationship.
CNN has contacted Huynh and the US district court for the southern district of New York to get a comment.
The court asked the court to publish it for a bond for a bail due to a bond of a bond. You have argued that it is not a danger to the community and is not a risk of flight.
Last week they also submitted an application and asked the judge to complete it or to give him a new procedure, and argued that he had been pursued unjust due to the man's law and described his conviction as “unconstitutional”.
“This conviction is alone, but should not stand at all,” wrote the lawyer of Combs, Alexandra Shapiro, in the 62-page memorandum.
Other witnesses in the case, including Ventura, previously wrote letters to the judge and advocated that he would remain imprisoned and told the court that they would fear for their security if he was released from prison before his conviction.
Combs was physically violent with Ventura several times, and the jury was shown during the entire process, including the monitoring of Combs Beating Ventura, which was first published by CNN. In his decision to refuse the deposit immediately after the judgment, the judge quoted the approved violence pattern of Combs in his relationships.
