The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards take place on Sunday, September 7th. Today the full list of nominees was unveiled. Lady Gaga leads the pack with 12 nominations and it is primarily recognized chaos“Abracadabra” and “Die with a smile”. Gaga's employee “with a smile”, Bruno Mars, is second with 11 nominations, and Kendrick Lamar also reached double -digit digits and achieved 10 nominations for Gnx“Luther” and “not like us”. There are two new categories at the 2025 MTV VMAS: Best Pop Artist and Best Country. There are also numerous first candidates, including Mac Miller, who is posthumously recognized The visual accompaniment To Balloonism.
For the second time in a row, the MTV VMAs take place in the UBS Arena of Long Island. The show is broadcast live on CBS, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
