[This story contains MAJOR spoilers from Wednesday season two, episode four, titled “If These Woes Could Talk.”]
Guess who is back!
When they thought Christina Riccis Marilyn Thornhill, alias Laurel Gates, was disappearing forever afterwards Wednesday In season 1 final, I hate to break it, but she surprisingly returned in season two, part 1 of the HIT Netflix series.
At the end of the first season published in 2022, Addams (Jenna Ortega) discovered on Wednesday that Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) is the monster known as Hyde behind all mysterious deaths. However, he was actually “activated” and controlled by Ricci's character to kill outcasts because the Gates family had tried to free the world of the outcasts since the 1600s when her ancestor Joseph Crackstone was killed on Wednesday, Goody Addams.
When Laurel tried to revive Crackstone to end what he started, stopped on Wednesday. The final of the first season ended with the fact that Laurel von Eugene (Moosa Mostafa) was attacked, although there was no explicit confirmation of her death.

Fast lead into the second season, part 1, which fell today on Wednesday (suitable), it is announced that Ricci's character has actually not died (at least not yet) and apparently arrested at the end of the first season.
In Episode Four with the title “If these suffering could speak”, Laurel makes a surprising return when Dr. Fairburn (Thandiwe Newton) transferred them to the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, where Tyler is recorded after he was arrested in the first season.
“I read your book Reduce the outassement. It was very practical when I cared for Tyler, ”says a hand Schellenlaurel at the beginning of the episode creepy to Dr. Fairburn.
“I thought they would keep two separately, would reduce their emotional grip over him,” says Newton's character, as Laurel replies: “But it didn't do it?
“I would like to know what you have done to Tyler so that I can rehabilitate him,” says Dr. Fairburn clear. After Laurel tried to negotiate her transfer to Willow Hill as a patient and not as a prisoner, Dr. Fairburn: “I'm sorry that we couldn't do this work. I have to find a more invasive method to unlock Tyler.”
After Laurel finally gave the help of Newton's character, he has one last request: Tyler, face to face. However, as soon as they are reunited, as Tyler is currently chained in an insulation cell, it is not the way Laurel expects.

Doohan then turns into a hyde and grabs Laurel on the neck angrily and beats her against the wall. While Ricci's character is strangely still happy to see what she created, this will change later in the episode.
When Wednesday later in Willow Hill creeps up to get her uncle more (Fred Armisen) from the psychiatric hospital and uncover the exposed experiments taking place in the basement, things go south when a monster breaks. If chaos unfolds, Laurel also escapes Tyler from his cell.
“I told you that mom would get you out of here. I could never leave you,” she says to him. However, Tyler clearly feels very different. “I wish I could say the same thing. You are the reason why I'm locked up here. You are not my mother. You are my master or I should say … you were,” he says.
After giving Laurel a lead to run in front of him, he turns into the Hyde and quickly catches up with it. Although he is tyler, he ultimately kills her.
So it is for sure to say that Ricci will probably not return for the third season.
Tyler and Wednesday unfortunately meet again. After thrown out of a window, the final of part 1 ends on a cliffhanger, with a bloody Wednesday lying on the floor and Tymer will escape Willow Hill.
Ricci's return to the HIT Netflix series is remarkable because you reunited two generations of Wednesday Addams on the screen. Ricci played the legendary character as a child in 1991 as a child The Addams family and 1993 Addams family values.
