The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signed a new multi-year film and television contract with Netflix, in which it contradicts reports this year that the streaming company would not extend its contract with them.
Harry and Meghan, who had concluded a five-year contract in 2020, have worked with Netflix after retiring from their tasks as Senior Royals with Netflix on a series of projects, most recently the lifestyle series of the Duchess with love, Meghan.
Media reports had suggested that poor consideration for some projects of the couple led to Netflix would not expand the “First Look” deal, whereby the streamer has the first option for all projects that generates their company, AR Productions.
