It looks like Anna Delvey has been involved in another scandal – but this time she was accused of defending an unknown number of rabbits in the middle of the Prospect Park and pretending her identity.
Delvey posted one last week Instagram history Of three rabbits next to a black carrier with the caption “Bunny Party”. Based on a grid post that she made on Sunday, she seemed to use her for a random photo shoot on the streets of New York. While only two of the animals appeared in the photos that were posted on Delveys Instagram, it is unclear how many rabbits their team actually had in their possession.
Just a few days after the photo shoot, says Terry Chao, a vegan food blogger, she says noted In their local Facebook group for rabbit owners, NYC Bunnies, some domestic rabbits were seen as part of Prospect Park. Also apparently discovered nearby: the same black carrier in Delvey's story. While Chao was working on saving the three rabbits last week, Reddit Sleuths Noted that these rabbits looked very similar to the animals in Delveys Instagram photo shoot. (One of the rabbits that were apparently released with his owner, who had volunteered Give it out for the day.) In the middle of the chatter, Delvey replied to a comment in which she accused of unloading the rabbits and wrote: “I will find and sue Dimwits like them themselves, which simply refused to accept that the rabbits that were leaned for our shoots are safe at home with their owners.”
After a few Backs-andforths in Delvey's comment area, someone who worked as an assistant to the photo shoot blame For the rasp,. (Since then he has deactivated his Instagram account.) According to his apology, the 19-year-old panic when he found that he was responsible for the rabbits and decided to release them in the park. “I have to be honest. I lied to you, Anna and the reset of the team over the rabbit,” he wrote. “The truth is, I gave it up in the park. It was wrong, cruel and indispensable and took full responsibility for my actions.”
Delvey has published his apology in her Instagram story, but has offered a slightly different story since then. When she grabbed a comment, she informed the cut that an assistant on the shoot (presumably the 19-year-old who reported) claimed to know someone who could borrow rabbits for them for a few hours. “I later discovered that he had received them on the Facebook marketplace instead of lending animals from a legitimate source, and intended to bring them to the prospect park, whose plan I had no knowledge,” Delvey wrote by e -mail. “The idea that someone would affect the well-being of innocent animals for personal networking opportunities is deeply worrying for me.”
With regard to the participation of Delvey, she does not seem to be responsible. “I am very worried about what has happened. As a talent, it is not my job to procure or return animals, but as an animal lover I can promise that I will never work with you again without knowing exactly where they came from and how they come home,” she wrote. “I do not eat meat and was not involved in the acquisition, transport or return of these animals. I would never tolerate these actions.”
From now on chao says The rabbits are safe in their home and sound. She is currently trying to place it in permanent or nursing homes and is Take donations for supplies About Venmo.
