Appearance date “Landman” season 2 by Paramount+ announced

The Landman is back.

Billy Bob Thornton returns in the second season of “Landman” by West Texas in season 2 and will debut on Paramount+on November 16.

Taylor Sheridan's hit drama, the No. 1 original series of all time on the streamer, follows Tommy Norris, an oil country man and mid-level manager of a Texas oil company. In an unprecedented boom, he has to navigate in a volatile oil field policy, evil negotiations and the violent criminals who threaten his work and family life.

Thornton achieved a nomination of Golden Globe for his performance in the first season of the series. He plays alongside Ali Larter, who plays Tommy's ex-wife, and Jacob Loflland and Michelle Randolph, who play Tommy's children Cooper and Ainsley. The occupation of Andy Garcia, Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, Demi Moore and Jon Hamm are rounded off. Sam Elliott joined the series for season 2.

“Landman” was renewed for a second season in March after becoming one of the most viewed original series on TV. It is put together by the “Yellowstone” master mastermind Sheridan and Christian Wallace, which organizes the “Boomtown” podcast, which inspired the series. The executing producers are Sheridan, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Wallace, Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay.
