Taylor Swift has no thing with the first date with Travis Kelce, which took place some time after visiting the Chiefs Tight End in the summer of 2023 on an Eras tour show in Kansas City.
During her worldwide appearance in the “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, Swift remembered not to ask anything about football to know and Kelce “The Insaneous Question” that he retired in the Super Bowl against his brother, the former Eagles Center Jason Kelce, in retirement in March 2024.
“I knew that in the first few times he was not crazy … he is like a exclamation mark of man,” said Swift, 35,. “I now use so many other exclamation marks. And they are not valuable that I didn't know anything about the world in which they were.
“On our first date, I rightly asked him what it was when the chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and he looked over the Scrimmage line and saw how his brother stood five feet away from him.”
Travis was speechless because it was not possible because the brothers played offensive positions and were not on the field at the same time.
“He didn't even look at me,” said Swift with a laugh.
“I now know what a crazy question that was … I thought everyone was out there at the same time … I didn't know what a first down … what a close end … I fell in love with her, I was obsessed with it.”
Kelce and Swift went to the stock exchange in October 2023 when they held hands in New York City.
In an interview with Time Magazine in December, Swift said they were a couple when they took part in the Arrowhead Stadium on September 24th – and “We went directly in” through the general admission.
“I love this new world that Travis showed me,” said Swift. “It's so much fun, it is so exciting that these players have so much pressure … The pressure on sport is another type that I respect for everyone, all in his team.”
Kelce repeatedly said in the podcast that he was the happiest type in the world.
“I was so lucky because I never saw what the suite was when I played,” said Kelce, whereupon Swift joked, “because it was never a camera.”
In relation [Pennsylvania]I always heard my father watching the canvas, watching the Eagles games, “said Swift.” I would go to sport events so that I could sing the national anthem. Everything was a means to make me make music.
“But I was definitely obsessed with sports [Travis]. I am competitive in his name. “
Previously on the show, Swift said that “New Heights” podcast “got me a friend because Travis decided to use him as his personal dating app two years ago”.
