John Cenas Showdown with Brock Lesnar will not take place later at WWE Clash in Paris this month – but it is still on the table later this year.
While he spoke about the episode of August 11th of August 11th Wrestling Observer Radio During a summary of Smackdown, Dave Meltzer explained that WWE saves the blockbuster Cena vs. Lesnar -Match for autumn, most likely in September or October. Cena had built an action that included an angle with Lesnar. So Meltzer admitted that he was surprised to see WWE Pivot in the direction of Cena.
“Yes, yes. He mentioned that he only had 11 data left. He explained again in which universe I would actually choose Brock Lesnar as an opponent? But I won't return.”
Meltzer made it clear that the change does not mean that the Lesnar fight is switched off – only that it was pushed back.
“You do him and Logan Paul in Paris, which surprised me because the angle with Lesnar.
If WWE really holds back on John Cena against Brock Lesnar by autumn, this means that fans could be one of the greatest festival tent games of the year if CENA completes its farewell tour. With only a handful of dates in his contract, every appearance becomes a must on television-and it is guaranteed that the beast incarnate turns the volume to 11 in the mix.
