Los Angeles, August 13th (Upi) – Red SonjaIn the theaters on Friday, the resource studios do not devote themselves to their intellectual property. Nevertheless, its dedication to the starting material and the obligation to get to the best of strength makes it more appealing than a large part of the competition.

Based on the character of Conan der Barbar The creator Robert E. Howard, Sonja (Matilda Lutz) is a warrior who believes that she is the only survivor of her tribe. When Sonja pursues some poachers, she is captured by Emperor Draygon (Robert Shehan) and forced it to fight the Gladiator.

Sonja fights alongside Petra (Rhona Mitra), Osin (Luca Pasqualino) and Daix (Ben Radcliffe) while trying to flee. Draygon is looking for the missing sides of the secret book that led the technology of his empire, so that the entire book would make him almighty.

Brigitte Nielsen previously portrayed Sonja in her debut from 1985. This film was fun, but at best it was a camp and really only a vehicle to shoe in Arnold Schwarzenegger as a muscular, like Conan, but with a different name.

This new film, adapted by Tasha Huo and Director of MJ Bassett, focuses on making Lutz 'incarnation from Sonja a viable film franchise.

The film was filmed in Greece and Bulgaria and will produce the hyborian age of Howard in beautiful places. Sonja enjoys an early moment of peace with her horse on a lake before she sees the poachers.

The Gladiator Arena looks more of a computer -generated background, as in 300 or the Spartacus TV show, but these are comparable genre entries.

Many of the creatures are also CGI. The forest creatures are more convincing and elegant than the cyclops, but there are also many supportive characters who wear physical prostheses on the face or mouth.

The fights are worked on together, but it looks as if the actors have learned the choreography beep by piece. Lutz integrates some modern MMA takedowns into Sonja's combat style.

She also rocks a metal bikini like the traditional comic incarnation of Sonja, who are an example of the film notes in 2025 that the emperor exploits it.

Red Sonja Dedicated most resources to the larger battles at the highlight of the film. It may be easier to stage those in an unpopulated forest, but there are still real cannon fire and armies that swing and shoot swords and shoot arrows. They built a fortress wall so that Sonja's army stormed.

When characters address the fantasy presentation and talk about the book of secrets and spirits, put it to put it thick. Nevertheless, it is no less unanimous than that Lord of the rings or game of Thrones Mythology.

Draygon's handlong wife Annisia (Wallis Day) is plagued by the spirits of everyone who killed them. Although it is quite literally, it is a moving punishment for her evil and makes sense why she allies with Draygon, which promises to heal her.

The film derives a good humor from Sonjas Stoischer Persona. When she orders the fighter to keep Daix alive, a random gladiator is doing: “What about me?” It is amusing to speak in films in the name of the generic cannon feed, but the priority occupation list does not change.

It is interesting that the female characters – Sonja, Annisia and Petra – are most serious. It is the men who are Campy or Extravagant, as Osin brags that he was never touched in a fight, and Draygon becomes dizzy that his army takes on a cyclop.

There is probably a middle ground that would enable women to be acerbian like the heroes played by Schwarzenegger, but Red Sonja is in good company in the unshakable warriors. The campaign provides and as a proof of concept would justify Red Sonja's adventure to a larger screen.
