Diana Ross does not sail as planned.
The singer, 81, suddenly canceled Royal Caribbean's “Star of the Seas” Scheibus cruise, which will take place later this month.
“From unforeseen circumstances, Diana Ross will not be able to see a representative of Ross People on Tuesday.
“We are disappointed that Diana Ross is unable to join us into a godmother of” Star of the Seas, “said a representative of the Royal Caribbean the Post. “We look forward to announcing our new godmother soon.”
The post has contacted Ross' representative for a comment.
Ross was appointed “Patin” of the second Iconclass ship of the cruise line in June.
The singer “I come out” should sail on the showcase cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida on August 20. The trip is expected to take three days and the guests in Cococay, Royal Caribbean's Private Island on the Bahamas, bring to the perfect day.
Ross will also start her beautiful Love Tour in the USA on Saturday in Saratoga, California. She will play a total of eight shows by November 8th. Ross finished the British leg of her tour in July.
Ross in June tell people“I always felt a deep connection to the ocean and the magic that it represents – peace, adventure and awe. When the Royal Caribbean turned me to invite me to be the patin of the star of the sea, I knew that it was something very special.”
Ross, who has five children and eight grandchildren, also revealed that her whole family was invited on the cruise.
“It's really what this ship is about, joy and family fun,” she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Ross said that her current priorities in life are “health and well -being”.
“And my family is everything for me,” she noticed. “I like it to be busy. Because I love what I do, it keeps me on the floor. I've been swimming a lot lately to stay flexible. I have to get my sleep what is important to me. I do my best to eat well, but I like Häagen-Dazs ice cream.”
In March, Ross told the fans at a sold -out show in Brooklyn that she will “never retire”.
