The trailer for the last four episodes of “Wednesday” Part 2 has revealed the return of a fan favorite figure: Director Weems (played by Gwendoline Christie), which died in the final of the first season.
In the trailer on Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), wakes up from the coma that she got into after Tyler (Hunter Doohan) had thrown her out of a window at the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital. Weems, disguised as a nurse, welcomes you: “Stand and shine, sleepy! Ready for your sponge pool?” Suddenly Wednesday and Weems are shown in a fantastic outdoor area with a door that does not seem to lead anywhere, and a massive Gorgon head statue with a fireplace in the mouth.
“This is not hell, Miss Adams, but I understand the confusion,” says Weems. When Wednesday asks: “If I'm not dead, why are you here?”, Weems replies: “Because I am your new spirit guide. Surprise!”
In another clip, Wednesday (Emma Myers) finally explains that she is in danger after holding it off from her in part 1. When she says that Tyler is planning to kill both, but that she will repair it, Enid replies: “Fix it? You are the reason why he escaped.” Weems appears and says on Wednesday that Enid has a point, but she can't see Enid.
The trailer continues to show clips from Wednesday, Enid and others through Nevermore and Jericho, with Weems say in Voice -Over: “If you don't hurry, you will have nothing to save.”
But it sounds like it is the voice of Lady Gaga who closes the trailer and says: “Caution, there will be a price that is to be paid.”
The pop star was announced as a guest star of the second season, but details of their characters have still not been unveiled.
