DJ Calvin Harris divided the fans with a post in which the birth of his little boy was announced.
The Scottish DJ, who is married to Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope, praised his “superheroes” refractory on Instagram on a number of photos taken in Ibiza, and showed the moments after the birth of son Micah.
He also invited Vicks Placenta to be recorded, and pictures that seemed to show that the organ was de-hydrated and in pills.
While many hurried to congratulate the couple, others said that they were surprised by the graphic photo -which has been made by the social media website since then with an age restriction.
Calvin told his 11 million followers that his son was born on July 20 – and added that he was “so grateful” for the newcomer.
Singer example and the Scottish footballer Andy Robertson were one of the celebrities who congratulated the couple alongside Radio 1 moderator Arielle Free: “Welcome to the world Wee Micah”.
Singer Becky Hill was one of those who praised the decision to share pictures of the placenta.
“Astonishing, we are building a whole new organ to give life!” She wrote.
“It doesn't waste good work either, that's a goddess magic right there!”
Others also praised the post for the “normalization” of the consequences of the birth.
However, some wondered whether it was necessary to take the photo without warning, while others were surprising.
“I was not prepared for the Placenta picture,” wrote one and another replied: “Placenta and Placenta were not on my Bingo card today, but in order.”
