Donald Trump attacked co-moderator Gayle King in one post on his social platform on “CBS Mornings” on Monday and explains: “Gayle King's career is over.”
“She should have stayed with her belief in Trump,” added the president. “She never had the courage. No talent, no reviews, no strength !!!”
Trump's statements came together with a link to a New York Post The article that indicates that King's Future is “cloudy” at CBS, with declining ratings and internal concerns about the so -called “Woke”.
CBS did not comment on King's status.
King did not respond to Trump's post.
It remains unclear what Trump said with her alleged “belief” in him, given her many years of criticism of the president.
However, Trump's attack on King comes only a few weeks after CBS announced the cancellation of “The Late Show”, whose host Stephen Colbert is a relentless critic of the president. The last episode will be broadcast in May 2026.
The network cited the financial pressure on the move. But after CBS had agreed with a controversial legal regulation of 16 million US dollars with Trump and how his parent company Paramount from Trump's government applied for approval with Skydance Media. That has now been granted.
